Course Details:

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is an integrated medical degree in India. It is under graduate degree program in old and ancient ayurvedic medical system. This degree is rewarded after the completion of 5years and 6 months degree program. In this period of five years and six month, 4.5 years are study period and rest 1 year is compulsory internship program with live practical.

The course is separated in three sections of 1.5 years each, called professional courses. During the first professional course students learn about anatomy, physiology and history of Ayurvedic system. In the second section students are taught about toxicology and pharmacology. The final and third section of BAMS program covers surgery, ENT, Skin, obstetrics and gynecology.

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is an undergraduate degree programme in old and ancient Ayurvedic medical system containing the prevention and cure to the body by increasing the harmony of Kapha, Pitta and Vata.
